SkuMint™ ("SkuMint," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI content studio for online sellers, operated by its founder. Our website is skumint.com. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. What Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

• Email address, when you sign up for early access on our website.
• Email address and name, when you contact us via [email protected] or our AI phone line.
• Google account information (name, email address, profile picture) if you sign in using Google OAuth.

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage data such as pages visited and time on page, collected via standard server logs.
• Device type and browser, collected to ensure the site displays correctly.
• IP address, collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare, Amazon S3).

Information we do not collect: We do not collect payment card data (handled by Stripe directly), government IDs, or sensitive personal data as defined under GDPR or applicable Indian data protection law.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Email address: To send you one email when SkuMint early access opens. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• Google account information: To create and authenticate your SkuMint account when you choose to sign in with Google. We only request the minimum scopes needed: email address and basic profile.
• Usage data: To understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell or share this data.
• Support communications: To respond to your questions and requests.

4. Google OAuth — Specific Disclosure

SkuMint uses Google OAuth 2.0 for user authentication. When you sign in with Google:

• We request access to your email address and basic profile information (name, profile picture) only.
• We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service.
• We do not store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google.
• You can revoke SkuMint's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate SkuMint:

• Formspree — processes early access form submissions.
• Cloudflare — provides DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection; processes IP addresses.
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — hosts static website files.
• Zoho Mail — provides our business email service.
• Google — provides OAuth authentication.

Each provider processes data only as necessary to provide their service and under their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address on our early access list until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Google OAuth data is retained while you have an active SkuMint account. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Objection: Object to our processing of your data.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. For UK/EU users, these rights are granted under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR respectively. For Indian users, these rights are consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

8. Cookies

Our website currently uses no marketing or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies necessary for security and performance. If we add cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a cookie consent mechanism.

9. Children's Privacy

SkuMint is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

SkuMint is operated from India. Your data may be processed in the United States (by AWS, Formspree, Google) and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using SkuMint, you consent to this transfer. We ensure all providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.

11. Security

We implement reasonable security measures including HTTPS (enforced by Cloudflare), minimal data collection, and limited access to personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach affecting your data.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SkuMint grows and adds features. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify early access members by email. Continued use of SkuMint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
